Coach · Recruiter · Trusted guide

Helping players find their next right step.

More than exposure. More than a highlight reel. I help basketball players and their families build a realistic plan, ask better questions, and choose the right college fit.

The real work

Anthony Soly, Rhode Island basketball coach
Anthony “Tony” Soly · Coach Soly

The recruiting process should feel personal—because the decision is.

Anthony “Tony” Soly—known to players and families as Coach Soly—has coached athletes from the instructional level through college basketball for more than two decades. I’ve sat on both sides of the recruiting conversation. That perspective helps families cut through the noise and focus on what actually matters: development, relationships, opportunity, and fit.

The next chapter

Twenty-five years of growth—ready for a new full-time opportunity.

I am actively exploring full-time opportunities and willing to relocate for the right role. I bring a career shaped by hands-on work, family-business responsibility, team leadership, coaching, and a commitment to continuous growth.

01

Built in the trades

Over 25 years in the trades taught me how to solve problems, communicate clearly, earn trust, and take responsibility for results. Growing through a family business added an early understanding of service, relationships, daily operations, and the value of doing the work the right way.

02

Strengthened through leadership

Coaching at the youth, scholastic, AAU, and NCAA Division III levels expanded that foundation. Building programs, developing people, and navigating high-pressure situations sharpened my ability to lead teams, create structure, and help others perform with confidence.

03

Advanced through education

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with a concentration in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University. That education complements my practical background with a broader understanding of organizations, communication, leadership, and the business of sport.
